The girls basketball season is fast approaching! Let’s take a look at some players to watch in the SBAAC American Division.

Aubrie Huxel, junior, guard, Goshen

Last season was a dream season for the Warriors that saw them win two postseason games, their first Division I postseason wins in school history.

The leader of that team, player of the year Peyton Shafer, graduated. Aubrie Huxel was a nice second option, averaging 11.0 PPG. But her days of being a second option are over, the Warriors need her to step into a larger role. Given her talent and experience, I’d expect her to get the job done.
