Outdoor concerts return to Nisbet Park in June
Save the dates! The City of Loveland has announced details for its 2024 Concert in the Park series.
All concerts take place on Sundays from 6-8 p.m. in the amphitheater of Downtown Loveland’s Nisbet Park, 126 Karl Brown Way. Speakers will be positioned to broadcast music throughout the entire park, which will allow Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail users to enjoy tunes while walking and biking.
All concerts are free to attend. Concertgoers can enjoy Loveland’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) and are encouraged to order takeout from local restaurants to have dinner in the park.
The 2024 lineup is as follows:
- June 9 Blacktop Rodeo
- June 23 The Lady Joya Band
- July 14 The Belairs Show Band
- Aug. 4 Jump ‘n’ Jive Big Band
- Aug. 18 Retrovention (The Music of The Doors)
Performers were chosen across musical genres ranging from jazz to rock. For the third year, the city invited musicians to apply for consideration. More than 230 applications were received.
“We thank all performers who applied. We try to bring new and unique performers to the city each year,” said Misty Clark, Assistant to the City Manager.
Additionally, the city will host an acoustic series nicknamed Trailside Tunes. These shows will take place in the gazebo of Nisbet Park on Saturday afternoons from 1-3 p.m.
The 2024 lineup is as follows:
- June 15 Chris Lee Acoustic
- July 13 Anita and The Daves
- Aug. 17 Nylon & Steel
