At the Clermont Northeastern Senior Award Ceremony held on May 12, the Clermont Northeastern Alumni Association awarded a record total of $39,500 in scholarships.
Joyce Miller Pitzer, a 1978 graduate of Clermont Northeastern, announced the winners and presented the scholarships to 15 talented seniors, including Koltyn Bowen, Ellie Breitenstein, Zoe Davis, James Dorsey, Carla Evans, Corinne Hoskins, Karis Kellerman, Caley Langdon, Savannah Pennington, Riley Pottorf, Lillian Rose, Molly Ross, Audrey Taylor, Wyatt Van Pelt, and Connor Yeager.
The Clermont Northeastern Alumni Association focuses on giving back to the community and helping students succeed. Their annual fundraiser includes an All-Alumni Celebration. This year’s celebration will be held on Aug. 9 at Norlyn Manor in Batavia. The event is open to those who attended, worked at, or graduated from Clermont Northeastern and their guests.
Other fundraisers include a free Alumni Gathering on Aug. 8 at Cedar Trace Golf Club with food available for purchase from Shannonigan’s Food Truck. The golf outing is open to the public. The public can also purchase tickets for the share-the-pot raffle.
