The annual Amelia Christmas Parade returns Dec 8 with Ohio .LandSAR Chief John Adams serving as the Grand Marshal.
Chief Adams has served 26 years in the search and rescue field, and founded Ohio LandSAR in 2015. The volunteer organization is dedicated to finding missing persons, and also provides training, educational programs and support for community events.
Several Ohio LandSAR team members submitted nomination letters in support of Chief Adams:

The Amelia Christmas Parade begins at 2 p.m. on Dec, 8. It kicks off near the intersection of state Route 125 and state Route 132, and will end near the intersection of state Route 125 and Amelia-Olive Branch Road (Kroger Marketplace).
