Goshen High School is celebrating the artistic talents of its students, showcased in two remarkable initiatives this fall. Talented student artists Annaliese Hancher and Dylan Welch were selected to present their artwork at the 2024 Student Achievement Fair, part of the Ohio School Boards Association’s Annual Capital Conference. This prestigious event recognizes the hard work and creativity of young artists across the state, and Goshen is proud to have Annaliese and Dylan represent the school’s thriving art program.

In another exciting endeavor, GHS painting students participated in the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Paint the Plow program. Students including Sierra Amyx, Emma Anderson, Ruby Daniels, LeAngel Edwards, Zarianna Farris, Emma Herrington, Hailey Lawson, Kaden Lynam, Caleb Nause, Emma Neal, Montana Newberry, Chloe Pearson, Ashton Purcell, and Claire Robinson worked together to bring vibrant designs to Goshen Township snow plows. These artistic plows will make their first public appearance in the Holiday Parade, celebrating both creativity and community spirit, and will then take to the roads to keep the township safe during the winter season.

Both projects highlight Goshen’s commitment to fostering creative expression and community engagement through the arts. Congratulations to these young artists for their dedication and achievements!
