Pat Fight, a resident at Pinebrook, a Watermark Retirement Community located in Milford, finds joy in creating intricate quilts, but the feeling doubles when she donates her finished work to families in need.

Fight recently shared three of her ornate quilts with the local Ronald McDonald House to wrap children and their families in warmth and comfort during challenging times. Other residents and associates at the community also donated items on the charity’s wish list. The generous group was joined by Fight’s daughter, Linda Crutchfield, and Pinebrook Community Life Director Karen DeHart when they recently dropped off the quilts and other donations. They also received a tour of the Ronald McDonald House, which helped them further realize the impact their donations will have on those staying there.
