Please join us in celebrating the Bethel-Tate Middle School Band’s selection for participation in the 2024 Capital Conference Student Achievement Fair.
Band Director Paul Glader entered an audition clip of the BTMS Band for the prestigious performance opportunity. The Student Achievement Fair is a great occasion to showcase the talents of the many musicians who comprise the BTMS band, Mr. Glader said.
“Among the awards we have received recently, this one sticks out particularly because it is based on our performance ability level unlike some of the other awards that recognize other aspects of our program,” Mr. Glader continued. “We were selected to represent the OSBA Southwest Ohio region and I believe Southwest Ohio has some of the finest programs in the entire state, so this is a great honor.”
In a letter announcing the band’s acceptance as a performance group in the 2024 Student Achievement Fair, Amanda Husmann, Administrative Associate of Board Management Services for the OSBA, wrote, “The Middle School Band group is fantastic, and we’d be honored to have them join in representing the OSBA Southwest Region!”
The Student Achievement Fair is part of the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA) Capital Conference held each November. The fair highlights outstanding student performing groups and fresh, innovative initiatives from school districts across the state. The fair will be held during the OSBA Capital Conference in November.
