The Rivertown Post, which among its many service offerings will serve as an authorized UPS shipping location, will open inside the Rivertown IGA in New Richmond later this month.

Longtime New Richmond resident Christine McAdams owns the new business, which will open up in the former location of Riverhills Bank, inside the grocery store.

The Rivertown Post will offer customers:

– UPS packing and shipping.

– Design services.

– Custom labels and decals.

– Wide format printing.

– Business printing.

– Helium balloons.

– Graphic design.

– Email marketing.

– Copies.

– Faxing.

– Direct Mail.

– Laminating.

– Scanning.

– Floral bouquets and live plants and flowers, with nothing priced more than $20.

McAdams will also offer free resume and notary services; instead of charging a standard fee, McAdams is asking for a nominal monetary donation that will be donated to a local food pantry and other area non-profits.

McAdams, who has been in marketing for 25 years, is looking to fill a hole in the shipping services available to area residents.

“A major disparity in our area is shipping; I have a relationship with UPS,” she said.

McAdams further explained that some Amazon shipping services are not offered to residents in the New Richmond area and further east. She has worked with Amazon to become a local drop-off location.

“Now, when someone in New Richmond orders a package on Amazon.com, it is automatically defaulted to the Rivertown Post as the ship-to location,” she said.

Customers can then pick up their packages at the Rivertown Post.

The Rivertown Post will be open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
