Correction: In the Aug. 20, 2020, edition of The Clermont Sun, in the article headlined, “Prosecutor’s office shake up; top attorneys announce resignations ahead of fall election,” it was incorrectly written that, “The resignations come on the heels of Clermont County Prosecutor Vince Faris’s defeat during the primary election season.
Heading into the primary, the Clermont County Republican Party endorsed Mark Tekulve over Faris, who was elected to the position in 2012.”
Written correctly, the article should state that Faris did not seek the endorsement nor run in the primary this year. Rather, it was former Clermont County Chief Felony Prosecutor Darren Miller who sought the Clermont County Republican Party endorsement.
Correction: In the Aug. 20, 2020 edition of The Clermont Sun, in the article headlined, “Little Fork Family Advocacy Center set to open in Mercy Health — Clermont Hospital in 2021,” it was incorrectly written that Mercy Health — Clermont Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital are related to the project.
Written correctly, the article should state that the Little Fork Family Advocacy Center is anticipating opening in early 2021 with the precise location to be announced in the coming months.
Correction: In the July 30, 2020 edition of The Clermont Sun, in the article headlined, “Fond memories of George Rooks,” the author stated that George Rooks has lung cancer. Mr. Rooks does not have lung cancer.
The Sun apologizes for and regrets that these errors were made.
