It seems in times of crisis,
Good folks rise to the top.
Showing behavior that is priceless,
Kindness flourishes never stops.
When it comes to supply chain,
Uncle Ray has surely shown,
The man truly feels our pain,
No need to fight alone.
First came the toilet paper,
His store quickly ran out.
As he pleaded for every favor,
There was just none about.
Hotel came to the rescue,
Soon paper filled the shelves.
One thing Ray did not do,
Increase profit for himself.
Then milk was in short supply,
Desperately he procured.
Found a farmer he could rely,
Then reduced price by two thirds.
Bought bananas by the ton,
Cut our price in half.
Values shared with everyone,
Stepped up on our behalf.
Yes in times of crisis,
Heroes do emerge.
Just remember their kindness,
At the end of this scourge.
