The Felicity Garden Club planted flowers in the flower boxes in Felicity and at South Park. The planters have decorative sweet potato vines, coleus and canna. The Felicity Garden Club has been a member of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs since 1953 and welcomes new members! In addition to their community service to our little village, the garden club members enjoy “flowers, fellowship, food and fun,” and aim to develop four-fold: Body, Mind, Spirit, and Soul through cooperation between God, man and nature.

The Felicity Garden Club was not able to hold their annual plant sale this year, which is their fundraiser they use to pay for the flowers to plant in the boxes in Felicity, at South Park and at the Felicity graduation ceremony. They will be receiving funds from a Duke Energy grant which will be covering the cost of the flowers. The grant also purchased a water tank to make it easier for the members to water the village planters and plants at South Park. The grant was written by Brad Moore, Franklin Township Fire Chief.

Thank you to these wonderful ladies for their continued service to our community!
