The Lions Reach Out, a small, nonprofit benefitting New Richmond Exempted Village School District families in need, is currently accepting donations of gently used clothing.

Donations can be dropped off at New Richmond High School during business hours.

The bulk of the donations are consigned to Snooty Fox, according to Lions Reach Out founder, New Richmond High School teacher Susan Griffin. Proceeds from the sales are channeled back to the Lions Reach Out.

Some of the clothing is retained and given to students.

Money raised by Lions Reach Out, through the sale of donated clothes and other fundraisers, benefits students in various ways including clothing, school supplies, personal care items, field trip fees, homecoming/prom expenses help, and emergency needs.

This year the group helped with the back-to-school needs of 15 children. A few more students may be in need of assistance. Last Christmas Lions Reach Out provided 187 students and their families with clothing, gifts, grocery cards, and household items.
