The rumors are true; the Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurant in New Richmond is closing.
The restaurant, located at 1052 Old US Hwy 52, will close on June 27, according to Todd Napier, vice president of marketing for Frisch’s Corporation.
The restaurant’s franchise owner, Craig Maier, made the decision to close the restaurant, Napier said.
Frisch’s Corporation played no part in the decision to close the restaurant, and Napier had no information as to why the restaurant was closing.
Details about how long the restaurant has been opened and how many employees currently work there was not available by time of publication, though Napier did say that Frisch’s Corporation would work with the restaurant’s employees to try to find them work opportunities at other Frisch’s locations.
