Main Street Salon, Batavia, has invited the public to a mother and daughter fund-raiser Sunday, May 5.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, May 5. All proceeds will go to purchasing mattresses for the James E. Sauls Homeless Shelter.

The shelter has 35 beds and is in desperate need to replace the old mattresses. Main Street Salon hopes to raise enough money to get a good start on replacing the mattresses. The special event will cost 65 dollars per couple and will include two haircuts and style and a mini-manicure for both mom and daughter.

Pastries and snacks will be served all day along with tea and coffee. John Dingo Photography has donated a family portrait valued at $340.

Batavia Floral Design has donated a beautiful patio pot, and the salon will be including a basket full of hair care products and tools with a hilite gift card.

All these items will be raffled that day.

Feel free to invite a friend if your mom or daughter is not available.
