Damian Young has received a recognition award by the Batavia Township Board of Trustees.
Young was honored at the trustee’s regular Nov. 17 meeting for his recent work on completing a walking, hiking, and jogging trail at the new Batavia Township Community Center’s park.
The quarter mile trail, which connects to other existing trails on the township’s park property, and contains a scenic bridge, was completed as Damian Young’s Eagle Scout project.
