The Rotary Club of Batavia held its annual golf outing Aug. 20 at Elks Run Golf Course. The event generated funds to donate to three area nonprofit organizations. The presentation was made by the outgoing club president, Tony Rees, Union Township police chief. The donations made were:

– $2,500 Cassie Carter of Letters 2 Literacy.

– $1,800 Molly Ridings of The Paw in Hand Project Pet.

– $1,300 Pamela Stricker of Streetlight Ministry.
