The Clermont County Engineer’s Office released its weekly construction updates, including road closures.
According to the information, which is for the week of Aug. 11 – Aug. 15:
– The blacktop crew will be focused on work orders, providing service in various locations throughout the county.
– The bridge crew will be focused on bridge replacement on Woodville Pike in Goshen Township.
– The ditching crew will be focused on ditching on Shayler Road in Union Township, Wolfpen Pleasant Hill Road in Miami Township and Mt. Carmel Tobasco Road in Union Township.
– The guardrail crew will be focused on berming, ditching and rock work on Ninemile-Tobasco Road in Union/Pierce Townships.
– The mowing and trimming crew will be focused on roadside mowing in Washington and Monroe Townships, a boom trimming on Ninemile Tobasco Road in Union and Pierce Townships, ventrac mowing in Union and Miami Townships and miscellaneous work orders in various locations.
– The pipe crew will be working on drainage improvements on Ninemile-Tobasco Road in Union/Pierce Townships.
– The sign crew will be working on work orders in various locations and edge line painting in various locations.
Road closures are listed as:
Bethel Concord Road – emergency closure, until further notice.
Woodville Pike – bridge replacement, through Sept. 19.
Ninemile-Tobasco Road – drainage improvements, from Aug. 6 through Aug. 29.
Construction project for the week:
Ninemile-Tobasco Road. From the Engineer’s Office, “This project involves the repair and replacement of culverts along Ninemile-Tobasco Road to improve drainage and roadway stability. Additional work includes ditching, berming, and rock placement to reinforce shoulders and prevent erosion. These improvements are essential to maintain the integrity of the road and ensure safe travel for motorists.”
