John Becker.

John Becker.

The community is invited to our free summer events. Late spring events included a family movie night and a family fishing event. Upcoming events include the Farmers Market, concerts, movie nights, and more.

With the exception of July 4, the Farmers Market will be every Friday from June 6 through September 5 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Union Township Civic Center campus. (My personal favorites are the baked goods.)

The concert series also begins on June 6. Food trucks and adult beverages will be available beginning at about 6:30 p.m. (Purchase them in a DORA cup and feel free to roam the Civic Center campus, Jungle Jim’s area, and across Eastgate South Drive at the 32 East Shopping Center.) The bands will be playing behind the Civic Center at the amphitheater beginning at 7 p.m.

Joe Dills, Michael Logue, and I are accessible and approachable. That is also true of Fiscal Officer Ron Ca.m.pbell, Administrator Cory Wright, and our staff. If you need anything or just want to chat, call me at home at 513-753-6440. Or call 513-752-1741 to speak with any staff member at the Civic Center.

John Becker has been a Union Township Trustee since January 2022. He previously served as a State Representative from 2013 – 2020 until forced out by term limits.
