The Eastern Cincinnati Conference is one of only a few high school leagues in Southwest Ohio that crowns diving champions. Last season, divers representing nine schools – Anderson, Lebanon, Little Miami, Loveland, Milford, Turpin, Walnut Hills, West Clermont and Winton Woods competed in one-meter events for the boys and girls. The 2024-2025 league meet is Jan. 23 at West Clermont.
West Clermont
Head coach Lisa Werwinski is well-known in the diving community as a coach and elite-level judge. This is her 11th season with the West Clermont district; she coached at both Amelia and Glen Este high schools before they merged. She also has her own club program, Legacy Diving Cincinnati and is World Aquatica “A” Level judge – the highest international certification – and secretary for the Ohio Diving League and member of USA Diving’s Coaches Advisory Council.
This season’s time is the largest in school history, with two seniors, five juniors, two sophomores and five freshmen. Ten have already earned a varsity letter, and two more should by the end of the season. Every member has earned a personal best score at some point.
