The American Legion Post 237, VFW 3954, and DAV of Batavia would like to thank Poochies Place in Amelia for preparing a great breakfast for us before we went out for the day.

Poochies has always been 100 percent behind our veterans and first responders in Clermont County. We serve breakfast every year at our American Legion / VFW post for Memorial Day before we go to the our cemeteries in the county to do our salute to our fallen. This year it was our turn to cook. I went to Poochies with the task of feeding 30-40 people at our post by 0700. Poochie and her staff showed up early in the am on a holiday so I could get the food picked up and delivered to Batavia by then.

Biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon, and sausage, all made fresh. It was no surprise that all went great everyone was very pleased no one left hungry. We had about 34 people show up, and even had enough to donate to the local women’s shelter. We thank Poochies and her family for all the support you give the veterans and first responders in our community. We will be back every year!

Thank you,
For God and Country
