The best finishers in the First Annual Batavia East Fork 5K Run/Walk pose after the race on the Afton side of East Fork State Park where the race took place. Josh Moon was the male winner and Michelle Welch was the female winner.
The Batavia High School Athletic Department Benefit Run/Walk took place at East Fork State Park.

Josh Moon was the first place finisher in a time of 20-minutes and 12-seconds. A total of 50 competitors took part.

Rounding out the best of the finishers along with their respective times were Hunter Stith (21:37), Derek Jones (21:51), Griffin Stith (22:34), Cody Schott (24:58), Jake Greiner (25:35), Ian Malott (25:38), Brett Fortner (26:11), Lucas Grant (26:55), Joey Royer (27:05), Bob Rosa (27:28), Aaron Carnahan (27:51), Nick DeRose (28:10), Zack Leopold (29:25), Michelle Welch (30:15), Cierra Isner (30:445), Adam Ross (31:24), James Parker (31:27), Miranda Ross (31:32), Curtiss Brannon (31:33), Becca Ewing (32:27), Eleanor Bentley (32:27), Jacob Cole (33:53), Leanne Galvin (34:13), Jim Neu, for more than 30 years a very successful local high school cross country and track coach, (34:30), Lindsey Shepherd (34:34), Tiffany Hensley (34:48), Dylan Shepherd (37:35), Denise Phelps-Hammock (37:42), Lisa Courts (39:04), Lisa Rosa (39:05), and Megan Welch (39:37).

Colin Stith competed in the race for the first time with his twin sons, Hunter and Griffin, who finished an outstanding second and fourth place, respectively. They will be sophomores this school year at Batavia High.

Said the patriarch of the Stith family, “I really enjoy getting the chance to run with my sons. This is only the second time we’ve done this. It turns out to be a fun family affair. My wife, Lesa, and my daughter, Summer (8-years of age), go to the meets to watch us run and that is so much fun for all of us.”
