We are so excited to welcome back RiverArts Festival along the beautiful Ohio River in New Richmond. RiverArts Festival, sponsored in part by NROBA (New Richmond Ohio Business Association) and The Collective, is once again part of the 49th annual RiverDays Festival (www.riverdaysfest.org) and will showcase the work of fine artists in a variety of mediums, including wood, metal, fabric, paint, and many more. Several local artists will be in the show, as well as artists from Indiana, Kentucky, and all over Ohio.

Work of the juried artists will be displayed on Sunday, August 7th, noon to 6 p.m. on the lawn at the bandstand on Susanna Way. Judges will award prizes ranging from $650 to $150 for Best of Show, First, Second, and Third Places. Our specially designed RiverArts ribbons will be in place on the winners’ booths at the start of the show. One hundred dollars will be awarded to the Peoples’ Choice winner so don’t forget to vote for your favorite artist!

Wild Carrot will be on the bandstand stage 12-2:30 p.m. with their award-winning Americana music delivered with a fine sense of musicality and harmony. Tracy Walker will be performing live at the bandstand 3-5:30 p.m. Tracy is a well-known local singer whose musical style includes folk, rock, country, jazz, and blues. Live music during the entire event is due to the generosity of our sponsor, Renaissance New Richmond.

As a complementary event, RiverArts will host plein air artists at Haussermann Park in New Richmond. Artists will be painting the beautiful scenery in the park all day on August 7 with the option to participate in a “Wet Paint Sale” beginning at 4 p.m. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded for this event as well.

More information about the afternoon’s events can be found on RiverArts Festival’s Facebook (Facebook.com/NRRiverArtsFestival) and Instagram (Instagram.com/riverartsfest) pages as well as at www.nroba.org/riverarts-festival or (513) 200-3571.

Come and spend a Sunday afternoon in New Richmond along the scenic Ohio River enjoying the work of fine artists, the music of talented musicians, and the background and festivities of New Richmond’s RiverDays Festival!
