The Amelia Parade, LLC is excited to announce the return of the Amelia Christmas Parade. This years parade will be held on Sunday, December 12th, starting at @ 2:00pm. This years parade will start at the Amelia Elementary (this is new this year) and travel to Krogers, as we have always done. After getting to Krogers, Santa will go inside for photo’s and to listen to all of your Christmas wishes. We’ve had to shorten the parade this year, due to businesses going into the parking lot that we used to line up in. Just because it’s shorter, doesn’t mean that the parade will be anything less than it’s normal fantastic self!
We are also accepting Grand Marshal entries, so if you know someone that fits that bill, please send me an email at ameliachristmasparade@yahoo.com. What makes a grand Grand Marshal? Someone that has gone above and beyond to make this world a better place, someone who is looked up to, due to their accomplishments, someone who is a bloody do- gooder (if I can steal Mike Rowe’s term here). Make sure to include specifics as to why you think that they’d be an excellent Grand Marshal.
