The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
This is a self guided tour of six amazing homes in Williamsburg and the Harmony Hill Historic Museum, highlighting the history of Clermont County, and Major General William Lytle, the “Father of Clermont County.”
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from the Rustic Rose or Wrinkles in Time in Williamsburg or from Williamsburg Garden Club members.
One of the homes houses the most amazing display of Santa’s —many quite old in one spot.
One of the homes will be decorated in a Patriotic Theme echoing last years White House decorations by our local Amelia florist.
Williamsburg High School will be providing music at Harmony Hill.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided at each home.
Raffle tickets for amazing items will be drawn at each home.
1. The Keller Home – 3820 Ridge Road
The Keller home is a single floor home with a lower level. It was built in 2004 to accommodate their desire for openness for friends and family.
At Christmas, it becomes a magical wonderland with their collections of Santas, Snowmen, Trees, and Cr*ches. Come have your picture taken next to the 6ft Santa and check out their numerous themed trees including the Grinch and his *Who* Trees, the little Polish Pottery tree, the Children*s Tree, the Santa Tree, and the Snowman Tree. Their main tree holds various ornaments from over the years.
2. HeathFields Farm – 4211 McKeever Pike (Business)
Built in 1889, the farm offers a beautiful historic charm which will also feature charming holiday decorations. It is offered for rental for special occasions with up to 150 guests. The Farmhouse has 10ft ceilings and beautifully restored hardwood floors. It has a gourmet kitchen and updated bathrooms. A great place to host a dinner party up to 50 guests. The Barn has a party room in it with a loft for up to 60 guests. The Happy Hour Patio has its own small building for the bar and appetizers. Heathfields farm is beautiful with a bit of holiday charm that you’ll have to see for yourself.
3. Harmony Hill – 299 Willow Street (Business)
The stone dairy house, built in the early 1800*s, is thought to be the oldest standing structure in Clermont County. The Harmony Hill Historical Museum features displays of historical artifacts and offers an extensive research archive of Clermont County history. The Harmony Hill Museum highlights the history of Williamsburg and Major General William Lytle, the *Father of Clermont County.* Christmas at Harmony Hill Museum and Dairy House will feature simple and natural decorations. Buckets (paying homage to the Dairy House), bobbins, and birds will grace the Museum. Handmade birds and creatively crafted ornaments will adorn the tree.
4. The Webb Home – 3233 May Apple Drive, Batavia
The Webb home is a 2 story home on 5 acres built in 1997. The wrap around porch will be illuminated by large wreaths.
The downstairs is filled with a collection of Nativities celebrating the birth of Jesus. One of the Christmas trees will be filled with a collection of angel ornaments. There will be crocheted ornaments and scrubbies for sale as well.
5. The Snell Home – 4466 Ireton Road
The Snell residence, built in 1976, is a ranch style home situated on a picturesque hill. The Snell property is a working farm complete with livestock and field crops.
The theme of the home will be a Presidential theme, featuring decorations similarly found in the White House. This patriotic theme will also feature numerous angels in the home. A large Santa and sleigh will be featured as you drive up the hill and a Christmas Tree decorated with Santas. The rooms are decorated by Lucy Snell and Catherine Strange.
6. The Robertson Home – 3925 Forest View
The Robertson home was built in 2000 on a section of an old Christmas Tree Farm off of Ireton Rd.
This residence is a 2 story contemporary all brick home, built on an 11 acre wooded lot. Four Mile Creek runs along two sides of this property. The impressive two story entrance with a large staircase will be wound with garland, bows, wreaths and white lights. The main floor of the home will be decorated in the theme of winter wonderland of Snowmen, Santas and Mrs. Clauses. The lower level will be a mixture of old and new holiday decorations.
There will be an original family silver tree from the 1960*s, with the accompanying color wheel, and an array of holiday treasures found through the years.
7. The Kissinger Home – 1478 Crosstown Road
The Kissinger residence is a two story home situated on a scenic 11 acres. This home was built in 2010 and a matching barn was added later. This home will feature a gorgeous wraparound porch with illuminated garland, along with other festive outdoor decorations. Inside the home, there will be numerous themed Christmas trees and animated caroler dolls will be on display. Also, crafters will be displaying their items for sale.
