The Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival (SOIMF) will take place on March 18 & 19 at the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio. The Festival builds to a crescendo when members of the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame join forces on stage for the closing set on Saturday night. Doyle Lawson (inducted in 2012) and Paul Williams (named a Lifetime Member in 2009) will be joined by Festival host Joe Mullins.

Lawson, Williams and Mullins—who will appear with their own bands earlier in the Festival—don’t often get the chance to share the stage.

They have been pillars of the bluegrass world for many decades, shaping and molding the high lonesome vocals, sizzling instrumental solos and harmony sounds that define the genre. The combination of their talents will raise the roof to new heights!

Host band Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers celebrates the best in bluegrass music throughout the weekend with guests including Mountain Faith, Art Stevenson & Highwater, Nothin’ Fancy, Balsam Range, Dry Branch Fire Squad, Paul Williams, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and more. Find all the details at www.somusicfest.com. You can also follow the SOIMF on Facebook.

The family-friendly environment is smoke and alcohol free. Parking is free. Advance ticket sales are available through March 12; general admission passes are $35 for one day or $65 for two days. Ticket sales resume at the door during the festival at 10 a.m. daily for $5 more. General admission seating for children 16 and under is free with an adult ticket purchase. Tickets are available now at www.somusicfest.com or by calling the box office at 937-372-5804.

The doors open at 10 a.m. each day and the Main Stage will by underway by noon.
