
Cavill is a four-year member of the soccer team and began competing in track & field and cross country as a junior, earning All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference honors in both soccer and track.
Away from athletics, she serves as president of Milford’s Class of 2016, is president of the National Honor Society and past president of Milford’s DECA Chapter.
Cavill has also accumulated over 100 hours of community service, was a state finalist for the Wendy’s High School Heisman and was selected for the highly prestigious Procter and Gamble Resident Scholar Program for minorities and women interested in engineering.
At MIT, Cavill will play for highly successful head coach Martin Desmarais who completed his eighth season at the helm last fall. During his tenure with the Engineers, Desmarais has led the program to three conference regular season titles, a pair of conference tournament crowns and five NCAA Tournament appearances. Loewen is the daughter of Tom and Jennifer Cavill.
Cavill’s commitment brings the total number for the MHS Class of 2016 to 13.
