Meth bust made in Batavia Township

An investigation last week led to a rare sort of meth bust in the county. Deputies searched a house in the culmination of a three-month investigation March 6 and discovered a meth lab on the premises. Union Township fires firefighter

The Union Township Board of Trustees accepted the recommendations of administrator Doug Walker and Union Township Fire Chief Stan Deimling March 11 and fired firefighter Jamie Osborne.
