Student recognized for project

Amelia student Cameron Williams has raised more than $1,000 to help send care packages to our troops stationed overseas. Her W.O.L.F. project, which stands for Warriors Open Lines of Freedom, was her own idea started in January of this year. She enjoys designing art, which inspired her to start creating handmade jewelry to raise money to help pay the postage/shipping to send care packages to military men women fighting in conflict zones. Pearl Harbor survivors honored at ceremony

Sixty-seven years to the day, five men that survived the 1941 Japanese attack on the U.S. Pacific fleet docked in Pearl Harbor were celebrated and honored as heroes at a remembrance ceremony in New Richmond.
