United Dairy Farmers held its Fuel Flash Sale on Sept. 17, and drivers lined up in droves to take advantage of the $.40 off per gallon discount that was being offered.

Fuel prices have been rising since the start of the conflict in Iran, and drivers were invited to take part in the discount event, which was held at all UDF fuel locations from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The price at the pump, which at the village of Batavia location was $4.19, reflected the discounted price, up to 25 gallons. This is a significant saving, as fuel prices have skyrocketed in the past week to up to $5 a gallon or more.
