This week’s Athlete of the Week is Williamsburg
junior first baseman/pitcher Bronson Malott
Malott kicked off his junior baseball season with a bang while the Wildcats raced out to a 3-1 overall record and 2-0 in the National Division.
Through the first four games of the season, Malott was 11-for-15 with three doubles, one triple, two home runs, 11 RBIs and nine runs scored.
Against Georgetown, Malott batted 6-for-7, seven RBIs and five runs scored.
Malott concluded his junior season averaging .492 with 28 RBIs, 27 runs scored and eight home runs to earn first-team all-Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference honors.
