WILLIAMSBURG, Ohio — The Village of Williamsburg, in partnership with the America 250-Ohio Commission, proudly announces an official America 250 Williamsburg OH Community Picnic, celebrating 250 years of American Independence and the 230th anniversary of the founding of Williamsburg.
The community-wide picnic will take place on June 21 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Williamsburg Community Park, located at 150 E. Main St.
As the oldest community in Clermont County (est. 1796), Williamsburg is holding this free event to celebrate the rich history and cultural heritage of the area. The afternoon will feature:
• Complimentary Food: Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.
• Family Activities: History trivia, children’s books, crayons and kite flying.
• Entertainment: A putting green, Father-Son Look-Alike contest and fun contests.
This event is part of a series of community gatherings across Ohio honoring our nation’s semiquincentennial and the role of local communities in shaping the American story.
“Williamsburg, Ohio, is honored to be recognized as an America 250 Community… We are rich in both history and heritage,” noted officials involved in the planning.
Community members are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for an afternoon of fun, food, and friendship.
