The City of Milford held a swearing-in ceremony for its new city manager, Benjamin Gunderson, during the council meeting on December 3.

Mayor Lisa Evans expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Benjamin is going to bring a lot of enthusiasm. He’s excited about being in Milford, and we are very excited to have him here.”

In his brief remarks at the meeting, Gunderson shared, “I’m extremely excited for this opportunity. As I walk the streets and interact with different stakeholders, I can tell that this is an excellent community. I believe I’m going to be a great fit and I look forward to being part of the team.”

Gunderson will be stepping down as the Village Administrator for the Village of Minerva in northern Ohio. His official start date in Milford was Dec. 11.
