The New Richmond Exempted Village School District is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Jill Hollandsworth as interim superintendent, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Dr. Hollandsworth will fill the void created by the retirement of current NREVSD superintendent Tracey Miller. The decision was finalized at the October 21 meeting of the NREVSD Board of Education.
Mr. Miller shared his excitement for Dr. Hollandsworth’s appointment and praised her for her work on the district’s curriculum throughout the last three years.
“Dr. Hollandsworth has been incredibly instrumental in the tremendous academic growth we have been experiencing the last several years,” Mr. Miller said. “Her already established positive relationships with staff and members of the community puts her in a wonderful position to continue to build upon the great things happening here in our special district. Congratulations Dr. Jill!”
Dr. Hollandsworth has served as the district’s Director of Curriculum and Technology since June of 2021. Prior to that, she worked in the Milford Exempted Village School District in a wide-encompassing role ranging from managing federal grants to guiding the professional development and curriculum revisions throughout the district.
“I am honored to accept the position of interim superintendent for the New Richmond Exempted Village School District,” Dr. Hollandsworth said. “Over the past three years, I have been incredibly fortunate to work with such an involved community and a dedicated staff in my role as the director of curriculum and technology. My priority as interim superintendent will be to continue to build on our strong foundation to enhance academic achievement, support our educators, and create a district-wide environment where all of our students can thrive. I am excited to contribute to the future of New Richmond Schools and am grateful for the trust placed in me.”
The district has engaged in a contract with the Ohio School Board Association to begin the search for a full-time superintendent. More information on that process will be shared as it becomes available.
