The SBAAC National Division has essentially been a two-team race in girls soccer this year.
Coming into an Oct. 3 matchup, both Bethel-Tate and Williamsburg sat at 6-0-1 in conference play. The tie came against each other in a Sept. 3 home game for Williamsburg. This time, the Wildcats had to go on the road to take on the Tigers, who came into the game with an 8-0-0 record at home.
The game remained scoreless through the first 16 minutes. That’s when the Tigers would grab a lead that they would never relinquish.
