The Williamsburg Harmony Hill Association will be celebrating the 254th Birthday of Maj. Gen. William Lytle on Sept. 8 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at 299 South Third St.
This will be an Ohio Open Doors event where historic buildings and landmarks across Ohio will open their doors free of charge.
The Harmony Hill Museum and the Clermont Historical Society Museum will be open along with the Lytle Dairy House, built in 1800. This is considered the oldest historical structure in Clermont County, a National Historic Register site. The recently built replica of Lytle’s Land Office will be open, as well.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon. At 3:30 p.m. the Williamsburg Community Band will present a concert.
Everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the event.
