Clermont County Probate Court Judge James Shriver is seeking applicants to serve on the Clermont County Park Board. This appointment will be for a three-year term starting January 1, 2025, and concluding December 31, 2027.

The Clermont County Park District is responsible for managing seven parks, four nature preserves, eight green spaces, and various conservation easements, covering nearly 2,000 acres. This includes the popular Williamsburg to Batavia Hike Bike Trail. The Park District’s mission is to “seek, discover, and enhance Clermont County’s natural abundance.” Additional information about the Park District can be found on their website, clermontparks.org.

Individuals interested in serving on the Park Board are required to submit a cover letter expressing their interest, along with a notarized application. Applicants must also agree to a background check. The application form is available for download here.

Completed applications and cover letters must be submitted to the Probate Court at 2379 Clermont Center Drive, Batavia, OH 45103, no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 31, 2024.
