Arbor Day is April 26, and on April 26, New Richmond held a local event to honor the day.
The event took place in Caroline Street.
Community volunteers came together and planted two trees. Additionally, three existing older trees were “spruced up,” and a number of seedlings were distributed, according to Kelley Snider, New Richmond Council Clerk.
The event was sponsored by The Village of New Richmond, the village’s Shade Tree Commission, and Renaissance New Richmond, Inc.
