Neither Blanchester nor Batavia had recorded a loss heading into a March 29 matchup. The Bulldogs came in at 4-0 (1-0 in the SBAAC), and the Wildcats came in at 2-0 (1-0 in the SBAAC).
Blanchester jumped out to an early lead in the top half of the first, scoring two runs. Batavia then responded with three runs of their own and would never give the lead back up.
