Batavia Township is excited to announce that The Purina Trust Fund awarded Batavia Township a grant in the amount of $20,000.00.
The Purina Trust Fund was established by Purina’s founder, William H. Danforth. The Trust Fund is dedicated to supporting initiatives that improve the lives of people and pets in the community.
Batavia Township’s dog park is located at Batavia Township Park at 1535 Clough Pike, and some improvements to the dog park may include additional water stations and seating. Batavia Township is passionate about providing their residents with the best amenities possible so they believe improving the dog park will greatly improve the quality of life for their residents and their pets and they believe the community will reap the benefits for years to come.
This isn’t the first time Purina has partnered with Batavia Township. In 2023, in celebration of Earth Day, Purina donated and planted 10 trees in the dog park. Batavia Township and Purina are excited to continue their partnership.
