Throughout the season, the Batavia bowling programs have been at or near the top of the SBAAC standings. Although both teams fell to Fairfield in a Feb. 7 match, the Bulldogs have put themselves in solid position to make a run in the upcoming D1 Southwest sectionals.

This match took place at Rollhouse in Fairfield, home of the Indians program. Home alley advantage is a key factor in bowling according to Head Coach Jason Huhn.

“It’s their house that they’re used to and that they practice on. Anytime you have a home match, you’re gonna have an advantage over another team. They had some spectacular bowling today.”

One bright spot on the day for the Bulldogs was senior Isabelle Peck, who was recently named to the SBAAC American Division Second Team. Peck shot a 170 in game number one, the highest single-game score for any female Bulldog in the match.
