Spaulding’s Warriors, a third-grade servant leadership group at Spaulding Elementary, partnered with Heartland Food Pantry to put on a canned food drive to scare away hunger in the Goshen community. The after-school club was created and is run by 3rd-grade teacher Tiffany Singleton just this school year. The canned food drive brought in over 1,800 goods that will be going right back to the families of Goshen. Our servant leadership group didn’t stop there! They partnered with Williams Corner Church of God’s food pantry to pack and distribute food boxes. Together they helped 144 families from the Goshen community! The students from this group lead like a warrior by serving those far and near. This was a great partnership to demonstrate the leadership trait of kindness. Thank you Williams Corner Church of God for your partnership! Spaulding Elementary would like to thank the students and families for their contributions as well as Heartland Food Pantry for their partnership in this event. We could not be prouder of the efforts these younger Warriors put in to support our community.
