On Friday, Oct. 13, the Grant Career Center volunteers arrived in Williamsburg. As part of the Grant Give Back, students volunteered to take on a variety of projects for local non-profits and others. Under the direction of Chad Graybill and Jay Betemps, volunteers completed four projects at Harmony Hill Museum. They added signs and helped secure benches for the museum.
Buffy Young led a group of volunteers who assisted with the Memorial Garden and Veterans Walk in the village. They then added mums to the Welcome to Williamsburg signs on state Route 32.
This group worked with Liz Betemps, President of the Williamsburg Garden Club.
Projects like painting curbs, assisting with historical document filing, and others were accomplished on Friday. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers and leaders who helped improve our community.
