Two people are dead after a single vehicle traffic crash in Franklin Township.
The fatal crash happened on Sept. 3 at about 7:37 p.m. on state Route 756 near Bolender Road, just west of Felicity, according to the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Donald Young, age 35, of Felicity, was driving a 2005 Ford F-150 westbound on state Route 756 when it traveled off the right side of the roadway, according to the preliminary investigation. The truck it a utility pole before it overturned, hitting a tree and a fence.
Young sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clermont County Coroner’s Office.
Bobby Long, age 47, also of Felicity, was a passenger in Young’s truck. Long also also sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clermont County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
