Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney Mark J. Tekulve announces that on July 27, 2023, the Clermont County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Jacqueline Marie Osborne (06/03/1990) for one count of Theft, a felony of the fifth degree.

The Indictment alleges that between February 1, 2022, and March 2, 2023, Jacqueline Marie Osborne (“Defendant”), who was serving as the Treasurer for the Williamsburg Parent-Teacher Association (“WPTA”), conducted $2,456.90 worth of unauthorized transactions using the organization’s credit card.

Defendant resigned from her position, which led to the appointment of a new WPTA Treasurer. During a financial review, the newly appointed Treasurer noticed suspicious and unaccounted for transactions.

When WPTA members compared official bank records to the records Defendant submitted, it was determined that Defendant altered documents to conceal the unauthorized transactions. Defendant was questioned about the discrepancies and admitted that she used the WPTA credit card without permission for personal items.

If convicted, Jacqueline Marie Osborne faces a maximum sentence of 12 months in prison, and a maximum fine of $2,500
