Lois Taulbee Burton passed away at the age of 80 on July 24, 2023, in Loveland, Ohio. Lois was born on June 20, 1943, in Taulbee, Kentucky. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Burton, sister, Faye Cundiff and her parents Charles and Minnie Taulbee. She is survived by her siblings Lana (Bill) Haller, Paul Taulbee, Tony Taulbee her children Heather (Jeff) Hastings, Ryan (Krista) Burton, grandchildren Austin (Kelli) Hastings, Morgan Hastings, Alex Burton, Emma Burton, Evan Burton and several nieces and nephews.
Lois was a graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati and spent her career working in the lettering department for Gibson Greeting Cards. After retirement, she enjoyed spoiling her grandkids, traveling, working crosswords, walking several miles a day, reading her devotions/bible as well as relaxing with her People magazine.
Per Lois’ request, there will be no funeral services held. A private celebration of life ceremony will be held on September 9, 2023, at the home of her daughter, Heather Hastings.
Lois was an avid dog lover and adopted many over the last 30 years. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Lois to:
