Summer has once again flown by and West Clermont teachers and staff are gearing up for another year of committing to excellence with every learner, every day, every way!
August 8th-9th marks orientation for more than 65 new teachers joining our talented team of educators. It is because our community embodies our mission, vision, and values that I have no doubt these new teachers will quickly feel like a vital part of the West Clermont family.
All staff will return to campus on August 11th for our annual convocation, a time when we come together to set the tone for the year ahead. This year, I will share a message of hope—emphasizing the significance of our educators’ daily work and its connection to our Portrait of a Graduate outcomes. We will also review our Portrait of an Educator, which builds on our theme of being a district ON THE RISE. As educators in our community, we strive to be:
● Relationship builders and effective communicators
● Innovative and intentional
● Student-centered and lifelong learners
● Empowered and engaged
I am thankful for our teachers and staff, who possess a unique combination of skills and qualities that enable them to make a profound difference in the lives of our students. They recognize that it is only together, as one community, that we learn, lead, and succeed. I can’t wait to see where this school year takes us!
