The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Batavia Post is currently investigating a two vehicle double fatal crash. The crash occurred at the intersection of Woodville Pike and Belfast Road, Goshen Township at 3:47 P.M.
A preliminary investigation reveals that a 2018 Mazda 3, being operated by Gregory H. Beebe, age 48 of Goshen, Ohio was northbound on Belfast Road attempting to turn left onto Woodville Pike. A 2004 Ford Excursion, being operated by a 17 year old juvenile of Goshen, Ohio was eastbound on Woodville Pike. The Mazda failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by the Ford Excursion. Both vehicles came to rest off the north side of the roadway.
Michelle L. Beebe, age 47 of Goshen, Ohio was a passenger in the Mazda 3.
Both, Gregory H. Beebe and Michelle L. Beebe were pronounced deceased at the scene by Goshen Township EMS. Both occupants were wearing the installed safety belts.
The juvenile driver was transported by ground to Bethesda North Hospital for minor injuries.
Units assisting on scene were: Goshen Township Fire and EMS, Goshen Police Department, Clermont County Coroner’s Office.
