The official start of summer at the Clermont County Public Library begins with the launch of the Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading program.
Participants of all ages earn prizes as they track their time spent reading, listening to audiobooks, or even reading to their children or parents. Those who register by June 11 will be eligible to win a one-day pass to Kings Island. A grand prize drawing will take place on August 15. Winners will receive tickets to their choice of several area attractions including the Cincinnati Zoo.
The Library is hosting ocean-themed programs featuring the WAVE Foundation at the Newport Aquarium, Crystal Clear Science, the Cleveland Aquarium, and more. The programs are a great way to learn about our oceans, the animals that live in the sea, and conservation efforts.
“Summer Reading programs are the perfect way to rediscover the Clermont County Library and all we have to offer,” said Library Director Chris Wick. “We have great programs, movies, books, and much more. Take a break from the summer heat and see what we offer.”
Summer Reading runs June 1 through August 13. For more information, including a complete list of programs and prizes, visit clermontlibrary.org.
