Spring has arrived, which means it’s time to shop the Clermont County Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual plant sale.
April is Native Plant Month in Ohio.
Each year, the Clermont County SWD sells native trees, bush bare root seedlings between 18-inches and 24-inches, in packets of three.
This year, the Clermont County SWD is also selling pollinator perennials in packets of five as well as a pollinator packet of 25 plants / 5 varieties.
“Native plants are a must for attracting wildlife to your yard and the Aster is a great option for your next landscaping project,” reads a recent Facebook post from the Clermont County SWD.
Rain barrels are also available.
Customers can place their orders now through April 21, or until supplies run out.
As of April 6, the following were listed as still available:
– White Pine.
– Black Walnut.
– Flowering Dogwood.
– Eastern Redbud.
– Ninebark.
– Meadowsweet Spirea.
– Sneezeweed.
– Rain Barrels.
Plant pick up is schedule for April 22 and April 23rd from 12 p.m. to 6:30 pm at the Clermont County Fairgrounds.
Clermont County SWD cannot hold or ship orders.
