Ellen I. Mentz-Williams, 104 years of Gilbert, AZ, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Charleston, WV on July 29, 1915, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Sheets) Snodgrass. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her first husband, William Mentz, second husband, Keith Williams; son, William “Bill” Mentz and ten siblings.
Ellen is survived by her two sons, Robert E. (Jenny) Mentz of Georgetown, OH. and Stewart E. “ Eddie” (Shirley) Mentz of Florence, KY.; two daughters, Mary (Tom) Wilkin of Hillsboro and Peniel S. Cronin of Gilbert, AZ.; 11 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
Ellen was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. She was a supporter of many Missions and Christian causes.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, 8230 US 50 East, Hillsboro, OH. where family and friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
Ellen’s son Stewart E. Mentz will officiate services. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery, Winchester, OH.
